I went to see HH the Dali Lama this morning and I met a woman at the teaching who told me about this site. This was after I told her about my birthday...
I was born in the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.
She got excited and told me all kinds of things and referred me to this site.
So now I am here and wondering more about the significance of my birth...

I wouldn't say any numbers are universally either "evil" or "good". Different cultures or schools of thought treat numbers differently. I too was born on 11/11/1957 and if you add 1+9+5+7, you get another master number,22. I have been facinated with the number 11 all my life. I have found quite a few references to it as being evil. Alister Crowley, who also was facinated with the meaning of numbers, just skipped the number 11 in most of his findings (in his book 777) and I learned that he thought most of the information was too closely related to evil to publish. He didn't want the lay person to have access to the different symbols (i.e. stones, trees, flowers, ruling gods, gems, sub-human cultures such as fairies and shadow people) because they might be able to use such knowledge for bad instead of good.
One thing I have learned is the ability to actually become invisible, it isn't hard, most of us don't pay any attention to others anyway.

As for being born at certain times: I was born on 08-08-1983. I encounter the 11 as well. I mean the whole idea of astrology and being born at certain times is interesting and useful if you believe in it. I personally am slightly skeptical about being born at a certain time and therefore having special gifts etc. Much of our strong points and things of that nature are genetic! Some people on this board are Christian and would probably deny astrology and other old, yet new age revivalist theories. That's one obstacle we all must do here, except others for who they are and what they believe in. We are all people and we all have super interesting stories.

i too was born on the 11th of november 1978 but not at 11 o'clock or that would be a wee bit wierd indeed! however i dont know if this will help you or not but in my opinion the 11.11 or number 11 has never represented a date to me. I could be wrong but to me it represents something bigger and i guess for some of us who have birthdates or some other personal connection with 11 for whatever reason, it just gives us more cause to find out the deeper knowledge embedded within the phenemenon that we are all experiencing. This has inevitably drawn us all together and in some way im sure we can all help each other.

Here's one for you. I was born on the 7th month the 11th day, I weighed 7 lbs 11 oz at 11:07 o'clock.. Strange series of numbers wouldn't you say.

And I was born 11-11-1978 in Boston, MA. Weird eh?
